.....flair on this one, taken at 5.9 mm

A few frames later, taken at 3.8 mm, the lens flare is still there but the streaks are gone

A few more from the same lens

Nice shots, the 08 is calling me.
Maybe the pixie dust was being rearranged on that first shot.

Isn't this just part of the wonderful world of optics, Heinrich?
The 08 is so well corrected for CAs and distortion, surely you'll have to forgive it for minor indiscretions
Plus, it's beautifully sharp, and your pictures show that. Thanks.

Oh, forgot to ask - are you using a hood? If not, JJC makes one now for less than 1/2 cost of OEM.

Looking at these photos is making me want to go back to Waterton Lakes. And it's making me want the Q7 and 08!

No photos!

Great photos.

And the flair is very similar to the ones on my Holga's toy lens...

I absolutely love my 08 and didn't realise how useful it would be, or how wide!, until I got it.
Never seen the flare though on the 08 yet.
Here is my one-off flare on the Kit 02 lens

It says, "The owner has disabled downloading of their photos"

"Wallpaper" as in 8' tall and 12' wide for a wall..., although it would make a nice desktop background also.

Very nice sharp shots. Something I have not yet been able to get out of my Q when taking landscape shots so it must be operator error.
What F stop, shutter speed and ISO?
Are these .jpg images or shot RAW and then pushed through some PP?
Have you compared the 08 to the 01 Prime? I have the 01 and I wonder how they compare as far as sharpness.
These shots make me want to get back on the motorcycle and head up to Colorado for some shooting.
Thanks for sharing,
Denny
