Has anyone noticed this behavior?Q +08 lens

I normally don't use the Q in full auto mode, but my wife prefers this mode. I noticed that when using the 08 lens on the Q that occasionally in full auto mode I get a dark frame if I take multiple images in short succession.

In all other modes it works fine.

Has anyone else noticed this? Seems to be a firmware butg

I've had an 08 for a while now, can't say I have.
Can you describe what you mean by quick succession a bit more and I'll go try. Are we saying burst mode, a few seconds, do you power off / on.
Also how much darker you mean. Are you taking fault here, or underexposed by the exit?
What I'm saying is if I use a tripod say, so it's the same pix, are they darker or does the camera change exposure. Etc.

Sequence is a few seconds, without power off

Shots are totally black, as if the shutter does not open to expose after focus and metering

Must be in full au59 (green mode)

I'm not aware of a lens specific firmware update for the 08 as was the case with the 01 and 02. My understanding is that the latest firmware updates are for the Q-series camera bodies. The updated FW allows the camera bodies to recognize the 08's unique properties and sync things accordingly.

Cheers... M

I think Mchaelina2 is correct. I have seen no lens specific firmware update for he 08. I also have never experienced the behavior you describe. Is it possible that there is some problem with slow writing to SD causes a frame to be missed?
