Completed. I think you covered the bases well. Only question I had difficulty was the last. The 01 is better than OK but not
quite perfect. A metal barrel and distance scales might make it perfect. I decided to see the list as a numerical ranking and
gave it a 4, (OK).
I agree with this.

Thanks to everyone who has done the survey, I have had 60 responses already!

Its a shame I was limited to posting only 10 questions, I had about 30 I wanted to post, but maybe that would have been too much!

I just had a quick look at the results so far and..............................................Ill post up the results next week

Thanks again to everyone, it's really appreciated.

Dan

The 02 zoom gives you f/2.8, at 24mm equivalent on the Q7, and 28mm on the Q.
indeed, but with the zoom, the Q ain't pocketable really. I was hoping for a slim 24-28mm, and sligtly faster than f2,8.

A collapsable zoom lens would be awesome but the outermost barrel diameter may become much bigger. We may end up with a case of small-body-big-lens here like the Lumix GM1.

I don't have any problem with a camera attached to the lens, instead of vise-versa, as long as I have adequate composing capabilities. In fact, I believe the Q has a significant opportunity as an alternative to the bridge cameras, since its sensor is somewhat larger and therefore should be able to provide less noise or more bit depth in the resulting pictures. Hang the Q on the end of a 16-300mm lens, or some such thing, and you'd have all the capability you need. You'd probably have to focus manually, but that is possible given enough help from the camera.
