Q-to-K Adapter and HD Teleconverter on Q. Is it possible?

Just curious actually, more likely a dumb question.

Can a Q camera have an HD Teleconverter with a lens (like the DA* 60-250) mounted on the Q-to-K adapter?
Is it possible to have more reach with this setup?

I don't see why not, as long as you have an adapter with an aperture ring.

With the high pixel density of the Q, the diffraction comes very early. I wouldn't use a lens slower than f4. And a lens that is not a premium performer wide open. I don't think there is an interest of using the TC with the 250, the resulting combo will be an f5.6 lens, which must be stopped down a little bit cause of the TC.

The line between where diffraction reduces IQ and where stopping down a lens increases IQ and DOF is not absolute and varies for most lenses, many lenses perform better stopped down to f5.6 or even f8 when mounted to the Q or Q7 then they do at f4 or wide open. See the adapted lens thread

That has a very long reach! I think your Q setup is floating!
