Q7 in studio with Yashinon D mount 38mm f/1.4 lens

I was very curious how this tiny cam will perform in a studio with one of those vintage D mount cine lenses...

Here's a quick setup with two strobes and one hairlight flash...

ISO 100, 1/13 ( what a disappointment here )

Yashica Yashinon 38mm f/1.4 lens wide open

thanks for looking.

Why disappointment? small sensor, low total light, long shutter speed... or were you refering to flash output? :|
Nice portrait!

Pushing the Q to its limits again. The new little sensor does better than the old little sensor here certainly.

That 1/13 is the standard default if you don't use a native leaf-shutter lens or OEM adaptor:

"X-sync falls to 1/250 second with an external flash strobe, and plummets to just 1/13 second for Unique-series lenses that must rely on an electronic shutter."
