Still no lenses :(

Well my hopes were dashed that pentax might show the Q a little love and release a few more lenses, but its still just one 'Macro' at some point in the future.

The sinking feeling is the Q's now a dead system, and that saddens me as the Q is still is such a lovely little camera.

This time last year, everyone was complaining that the Q system was getting ALL the love. It's a pretty complete line up already - even has a fast normal prime (01), which is 'missing' from APS K mount.

Pentax/Ricoh R&D I think have had their hands pretty full the last year or so. New 645z + lenses, FF in dev + couple of FF lenses, New APSC body, new WR Flash system

Apart from a macro (which I can get with the DA35macro on a K-Q adaptor), and maybe a fast wide angle, what else could you possibly want?

More pancake primes, smaller version of the kit zoom, more pancake primes, native super telephoto, more pancake primes, updated fisheye and maybe some more pancake primes would be nice

When Pentax was working on the Q system, people complained that the 645 system was dead. When Pentax worked on the 645 system, people complained that the k-mount was dead. Maybe Pentax shouldn't have brought out the FF~

No love?? They have updated the body how many times?
And how many lenses do you need?? Get's to the point you have so many you can't make up your mind which one to slap on the camera.

Wide and telephoto primes are not too much to ask.

Definitely a lens that is longer than the 06. AF would allow the Q to rock on action wildlife photos.
thanks
barondla

the Q is going strong.
