I was out shooting today and met the inventor of these products. I think the camera version would be perfect for the q with a long lens.

Good idea. I will have to give it a try since I have at least a half dozen red dot laying around.

It appears the inventor has made a workable mount system for placing a red dot for use with a monocular in a binocular view.
For the Q since there isn't a native eyepiece it may be just as effective to use the current approach for red dot still.
