This two zoom Q7 kit is soooo tempting but it seems a bit too good to be true.

I'm tempted because the price of the 06, alone, isn't much less than this whole kit. No warranty, though???

Fullfilled by Amazon, at least returns won't be too difficult.

That's what I was thinking.

Wow, that is tempting and I already have a q7 set up. Having a second 06 to give to my inlaws who already have a Q would be nice too and I would be out nearly that much. This is where buying through Amazon is so nice... returns are guaranteed.

I got a new Q-s1 with the 5-15 from Amazon warehouse (the box was dented a little) for $247. There are deals to be had there.

Go for it if you think it's a good price. You will absolutely love the kit! Even if it's not the best price you will remember the great photos more than the $20-$30 you could have saved shopping around. The 06 lens is a jewel of optical design. It's one of my favorite lenses of all. The 02 lens is highly underrate. Shoot the 02 wide open at all focal lengths and shoot the 06 at f/3.2.

I'm gonna have to think long and hard about getting this one. I love my MX-1 which has the same sized sensor but I'm curious about the Q and being able to swap out the lens. At this price, could be a no-brainer, even without a warranty.

I also have the MX-1 and have been very happy with it; always in my backpack wherever I go. I've been curious about how my Sigma 150-500 would perform with the MX-1 sensor for surfing pix. It looks like I can find out for $25.00 more than the cost of an 06 alone. Plus I get another zoom in the bargain? I agree about it being a no brainer now that I think more about it.

My initial interest in the 06 was for an upcoming music festival so this is a very nice surprise if its not "too good to be true" after all.

Trigger pulled.

Yeah, I discovered on Black Friday that you have to do your thinking before the deals become available. I decided to get a silver Q-7 back then, but the deal was gone. A few days later, a used-like-new (shutter-count =50) yellow one appeared on Amazon, and I was ready for it.

Wow, that was quick; $70.00 jump in price. I don't think I would have bought it this higher price.

The flag will probably drop on another Q7 price race starting around the end of October or sometime in November. Best to be ready when that flag drops. You snooze, you lose. I'll bet that two lens kit will sell at that time for $275 - $290. Remember the factory backed $199 sale of the Q7 W 02 lens last year around Christmas time?

Back in January (?) I snagged a two lens Q7 kit for just under $300 (really just for the 06, but I actually love the Q7). Unfortunately, the Q7's seem to be on their way out, so the deals might be drying up as fast as the camera bodies are.
Next up; Q-S1 + 02 + 06.
