They look extremely good, given that these came out of a small 1/1.7" sensor!

Heinrich, you are my hero!

I am personally a great fan of the Q but what you are able to accomplish still challenges me to continue to stretch my own envelope with this wonderful little camera.

Thank you sir.
Thank you, it is a wonderful little camera and many times I am surprised at what one can do with it.

I own the Panasonic LX7 and wish that Pentax made a lens similar to the fixed lens on it. The LX7 sports a 1/1.7" sensor and a Leica 4.7mm-17.7mm f/1.4-f/2.3 zoom. I would dearly love to see an equivalent for the Q series. The ability to swap lenses isn't enough to sway me from that lens and sensor combo (10mp by using a crop of the 12+ mp sensor) to give variable aspect ratios. But I am highly impressed by the results of the Q - it's amazing what small sensor cameras can do.

So the Q-S1 is basically better than my K20D when it comes to ISO noise

Great results!

I don't think so, with the same noise reduction technic applied the K20D should come out on top.

Yes, K100 and K10 would loose.

Indeed...my old K-7 has poorer ISO performance than the Q-S1. How things change....
