Grande Aigrette la toilette - Orion ED80T CF Triplet, Q7

Long time no see,
As usual I'll go straight

New gear, please have a look here on my previous thread with the MEADE :

Both are 480mm F6 so 2208mm F6 eq. 35mm film with the Q7
The EDT is better corrected for the A.C. (purple fringing)

Please read Bernall's posts for explanations.

Warning : Many images, its a kind of a timelapse
Speed between 1/125 s et 1/500 s.
Distance : much more than 60m
Light or zero pp. Sharpening for web images.

Awesome capture. What does "sharpening for web image" involve?

Hi 99exp.,
Quick & simple : I use the default setting of Picasa under "sharpen" with 800x600 pix. images.
You just have to bypass the compression of web forums.
The telescope is tack sharp

Making Of :

"x" for Distance.
I use Manual exposure (usually -0,7 EV) and a remote wireless

Man that bird has a lot of bands!
