Solo Cycling trip with the Q7

Did a short 2 day cycling trip to the nearby islands in Indonesia and brought along the Q7 as the "on bike" camera.
The Q7 is almost ideal for this as its wide angle with the 02 zoom allows it to function as a mounted bicycle camera and then once off the bike, the lens options turn it into a versatile image making tool.
All while not being too heavy and cumbersome to use.

37-40degC heat, 85% RH and fatigue, I'd really not want to deal with too much fiddling with a more 'serious camera'.

Mounted on the bike, its wide end, the 02 zoom works nicely to capture anything thats "on the road"

Great pictures, the 02 soldiers on! You don't happen to have a shot (or description) of your bike mounting set set-up?

There are many situations like this what the size of the Q is close to being a necessity

Thanks.
I have not used the 02 much at all, but in this trip, it certainly shines.

Bike mounting is just a handlebar clamp for small cameras.

Indeed.
The Q is wonderful in this usage scenario.
It can be mounted on the bike, and when off the bike, it functions as a good enough camera that has a good range of options.[COLOR="Silver"]

A mobile toy truck selling toys in a small village.

The Tri Kora beach area is some 40km of sandy beaches and very clear water.
Some areas are inhabited with fishing villages.
I passed by one where boatmen were repairing their boats.

Enjoyed your pinholecam travel log. The Q is perfect for this and the 02 lens performs well under your direction. The 02 deserves more love than it gets.

Thanks Barondla.
I often only use the 01 and fisheye.
Good to now find the perfect use for the 02.

Passed by a port, so popped in to have a look.
Too bad I could not spend more time hanging around as the dark clouds were brewing.
