Wifi memory cards for q-s1

Hello. While I am waiting for the postman to deliver my beautiful new q-s1 I was wondering about wifi enabled memory cards that might work with this camera. I read the manual online right after I purchased the camera and it only mentioned eyefi brand cards. These seem to come with smaller storage options and are more costly than some competitors. Will other brands work? Which do you like? Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

You can use any wi-fi card for file transfers, since they pretty much work with their own software/interface.

There's some native support to make life easier with eye-fi cards, though.

What type of built in support makes the eyefi easier to use?

I am unable to use flucard for file transfer in q-s1

so I use my old PQI air card adapter for this application, works excellent.

You get options in the camera's playback mode to transfer files selectively. You can also opt for automatic transfers of all files.

At the end of the day the functionality is comparable to what the card's software can deliver, but it's nice to get some control through the camera itself.
