The only mirrorless cameras that seem to do well are ones with a viewfinder. That is the one thing a smartphone can not offer. I would like to see the Q line continue but here in the US it seems unlikely.
Perhaps Pentax should join some leading smartphone manufacturer to build something new. Like Leica and Huawei and earlier Zeiss did with Nokia.
Of course Pentax is not a famous lens manufacturer. But they could have something else to introduce in smartphone photography.
