If you are going to take what I say literally, maybe you should also leave a literally blank space in stead of explaining your speechlessness. Most Q's were bought on the cheap with the standard zoom or the prime. Those people are not likely to spend $500 on a super wide zoom.

I am one of those persons - but I would pay as much for a 55-300mm Q-mount lens as I did for a 55-300mm K-mount lens.

I am one of those guys that did and it is worth every penny of it. I have the Q, Q7 and Q-S1 plus all lenses except the toys and use all of them. I would hate to see the Q's discontinued but at the same time I am set with what I have for years to come. Would be nice though if they would release the promised macro.

Not adapters that prove autofocus, aperture control by the camera body, and resolve well down to my Q7's sensor.
Most people will not be willing to go this route, but the native Q-mount equivalent could have been attractive to alot more.

After release of Pentax KP camera, Q-mount gets a chance for continuation. Because, thanks to to high sensitivity of modern image sensors ISO-limit and resolution of new Q-camera could be improved without sensor size change.

That would be great but I wonder if there are any sensors available which would do this and also work with Q?

The one used in the Ricoh WG-M2 should be ok, it shoots 4K video....I cant see anything wrong with having a Q that is video enhanced and continuing with the Q7/QS1 sensor for stills.

Most people take photographs with their phone, and are not likely to spend $$$ on a camera anymore.
If you understand what they are missing, you will understand the difference between the kit lens and the 08 on a Q.

In KP specs I see that electronic shutter is realy fast - it provides 1/24000 speed. So, it seems high sensitivity of the new sensor sensor is achived by more low electrical noise in pixel. If reduce size of KP's pixel to to the size of Q's , an area of pixel will become smaller 6.76 times. So new sensor for Q could get ISO 819000/6.76 = 121000, really not bad)

My dream Q body update has Pixel Shift

My dream Q lens is a tiny 500mm equivalent built-specifically-for-the-Q-sensor mirror lens (with autofocus).

A man can dream...

#3 - An answer to the Fuji GFX. An updated 645 at the least. Much more bold, a mirrorless 6x7 with new mount(*).

This will basically shatter the photography world.

I can actually see this becoming reality. We know Pentax signed a deal with Sony for the 100 MP MF sensor. This sensor is 'true' MF, not crop MF like the 645Z and the new Fuji. Pentax will need a new mount and lenses for that sensor anyway, and with the market moving towards mirrorless cameras, and Fuji introducing this trend in the MF segment ... why not?

yes, I know, but that's still "full-frame" 645 format, 67 is much bigger.... maybe another 5-10 years if we are lucky.

I agree that a $6500 release price of Fuji crop 645 has given us a lot of hope.

Bet the next 645z II will be full frame 645 MF. I hope to see it one day, Pentax 67 is unbeatable.

But why? The image quality of APS-C, FF etc. is already on such a high level, and getting better with every generation, that something as massive as 67 seems unnecessary?

I can see them adding an MF model rather than completely replacing the 645Z line with a larger sensor model. That would mean they'd discard the entire 645 lens line-up.
