Semi on topic (q adapter, tripod mounts)...

I use the Fotodiox PK(A)-P/Q. It's the one with aperture control, but doesn't have a tripod mount. All of the quick release plates I have for the 1/4" thread will interfere with the adapter. Is there an easy solution to overcome this via specific plates or spacers (a la Nikon TA-N100)?

Make your own spacer - it's nuthun but a space with a hole in it. Stack cardboard if nothing else. Large plumbing washers? Threads are 1/4x20 if a longer screw is needed.
