It still shows as current on that page, there's nothing under the discontinued tab.

At bhphotovideo.com searching for Pentax Q-S1 returns this result:
"Bad news: Pentax Q-S1 has been discontinued. Good news: Our experts are standing by to help you find a replacement."

Strange as it seems to be available on the Japan Ricoh webstore.

B&H's website seems to change the status of items automatically that have been out-of-stock or backordered for a period of time.

In that case, it's easy to see how confusion over the status of an item can arise! The Q-S1 is still shown as an available product on the Ricoh Canada website, too. But then again, so is the K-50. I thought that was discontinued. It doesn't help that the Ricoh Japan website has a drop-down menu that says "Discontinued Model" right under the Q-S1. That could have been thought out a bit better, I think!

That "Discontinued Model" wording on the page,
which doesn't show, for example, on the 645Z page,
is really confusing, then.

That's because you are looking at the Products page for Mirrorless cameras and not the overview page for the Q-S1.

Click on the Products Tab, then check Digital SLR. scroll down and the "Discontinued Model" section shows towards the bottom of the page.
