Wow. Well done. It is amazing that you can get such a sharp pic without focus peaking. Did you try to pixel peel to see if it is really "sharp"?
Actually I found focus peaking cannot achieve my desired outcomes when focusing. When you enlarge it x4, what you see in the screen is what you get. Yes, I did pixel peel it "when I did the focusing"!

I just bought me this lens from Ebay for just 20 USD including international shipping. Thank you one more time for starting this thread!

Good price. I did a search on eBay but could not find anything in that price range. Which eBay seller did you buy from?

I won auction with just one other bid. Seller's name is yeny (German eBay) but for now he has no active auction.

I hope it is OK to post own images here as I finally got a chance to use mine on the genuine Q. This lens is super - thank you for showing it is worth to purchase!

It seems to be perfectly usable wide open (all images above at f 3.9, whole frames from RAW).

Thank you! Until now I used it only wide-open, have to check if it will get sharper at f5.6.

Is this lens useable on larger sensors such as MFT or only good for Q without vignettes?
Thanks in advance

No clue on MFT, but tested it on APS-C mirrorless and it covered just part of the sensor.

...anyway it is great for the Q! Tested it yesterday for close focus (+/- 1,5 m) and it is good also for this purpose. Just one image (f8, genuine Q) as it was late and partly cloudy.

I decided I do not bring any "real" (DSLR) telephoto for my backpacking vactaions. I took a Q with 2 c-mount lenses instead and I'm quite happy. The two images above are details of a wooden church in Norway.

Thank you for information about this lens! I bought it too.
I was looking for a small telephoto lens for Q and this is in my opinion the better solution than the 70mm lens for Pentax 110. Despite the fact that the Tamron is near one stop darker, in my opinion it provides better resolution and sharpness, it is smaller and it has aperture control. Great little lens.

This lens is small, so great for snaps during family outings.
