WOW! Wonderful picture!

Thanks for sharing.

I have the 12.5/1.4 and 25/1.4 C-mount Pentax lenses and they are nowhere near as good as your 16/1.4 lens...

Cheers!

Cross-posted from a recent thread (old Summicron 35/2 Series II on a Q-S1):

This is about the smoothest bokeh I've been able to get with a Q.

Here's an image from the Q-S1 with the Q 06 15-45mm lens attached. I really believe that the Q 06 is the best lens available on the system. In terms of sharpness it's up there with some of the bigger sensor lenses (much better than DA18-55 for example). The bokeh is also very very good.

Are you familiar with the 08 Wide Zoom?
(Of course, it's not a bokeh lens as such.)

I had one, fantastic lens but it's a bit harder to get magic (or keepers) from wider lenses I feel.

Interesting.

The 08 was the lens that really convinced me of the value of the Q system.
But I do realize that wide angle is not for everybody.

Q7 and Wollensak Cine Raptar 25.4mm f/2.8 lens and a 10mm spacer, 3.5 inches (~90mm) or so from the flower, I cannot remember the aperture but at least f/5.6, maybe stopped down more.

Sweet images previously. Really impressive.

Just trying bokeh with Q-S1 + native 06 lens @ 43mm (and how to post a flickr image to forum).

Thank you!
Those are from traffic lights at a 200m distance with a couple of cars and some raindrops on the wind shield. Focused at minimum distance possible.

Here I bring a shot with 06 Telephoto zoom 44.7 mm f/4.5 ISO 100 1/15, I wanted to highlight the water on the oranges and blurring the green background of the grass, with a low speed 1/15 to highlight the effect of the water, the light is natural ...
