Turn off/disable the lcd information?

Just got my hands on a used Q and was reading through the manual, but could not figure it out.

Is there a way to disable all of the unnecessary info on the lcd screen (e.g. flash, iso, ss...etc.) so that I can just have a clean, no-nonsense, live-view screen?
all the info is really distracting.

You should be able to by pressing the info button.

Ah I did not know that either. But I guess i should have clarified, I meant having the screen/lcd on, but to remove/disable all of the setting-
indicators

Hmm, I wonder if the original Q doesn't have this feature, in that case. I know this is how it worked on the Q7, but then again, the feature has evolved over time.

My original Q doesn't seem to support that. My later Q-S1 does. Not sure about the Q-10 and Q-7.

I don't personally find it that cluttered. It is really just the exposure basics, metering mode and battery. Kind of essential when shooting this camera.

Thanks for the confirmation. I specifically got the Q to be used exclusively with the 07 lens, so the various settings aren't too much of a priority for me.
