M&R Optics 3D printed accessories for Pentax Q series cameras

https://make.dmm.com/item/897159/

The base of this extended grip and spare battery compartment looks to have all the right lumps for a good contoured fit. I like the big wheel for easy attachment/detachment. The spare battery slot is cool too.

The Q-S1 grip bump by the same user is seamless! Makes it look like an official evolution of the Q-S1. I could not even recognise the Q-S1 at 1st glance.

Hi Carol. I got these for my Q7 and Q10. They are OK. The pop-up part slides up is it is not needed (only problem being that if it slides off without being noticed you could lose it).

They are on ebay. Only issue I found is to make sure the part that sticks to the camera body does not foul the battery compartment door.

Thank you! I just didn't want something big & bulky, so this might be the thing for me!

So this prototype uses a modern 12MP sensor same size as the Q7 & Q-S1, can take Pentax Q lenses (those without leaf shutter) but will have a tilt hi res back screen.

Interesting 🤔

This is neat. With no compatibility with shuttered Q lenses this would only work with Toy (including FE) and adapted lenses. Hi res screen isn't very important for Toy lenses. So this is an adapted lens ultra telephoto rig? That could be useful.
