How many Q bodies do you have?

How many bodies and which models do you own? Which color combos? When did your Q journey begin? Feel free to mention Q lenses and accessories.

I have two. Bought the original black Q/#01 lens the day it came out. Years later added an used black and chrome Q7 dual lens kit (#02/#06). Love this color scheme. Reminds me of dad's Pentax Spotamatic. Have every Pentax made Q lens except the toy telephoto and of course the mythical macro prototype. On the look out for a Q-S1 body.
Thanks,
barondla

Q Q Q10 Q7 QS1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 OV-F KQ-Pentax adapter
Just love the system and size, then again I liked the 110 Super as well, those lenses fit too via adapter
The local distributor has a case full of all the odd colour combinations of the Q10, looks too much like a toy to me.
Still looking for the macro to come out ( hope springs eternal.......)

Q Q10 and Q7 plus 01 02 03 and 06 - and a few Pentaka 8, D and C mount to play with as well. 02 and 06 get the most use.

None sadly! I would like to play with a Q-S1 but they're still too pricey on eBay for me to buy one on a whim.

2x Yellow Q7 bodies + 01, 02, 03, 06, 07, 08 and the Pentax K mount adapter

Bought the first one in January 2019 after reading about them here. I was looking for something more discrete than a DSLR for certain situations. After getting the first one and liking it, I searched for more lenses and also found a good deal on a second yellow body and got it all in between New Years Day and Chinese New Years.

My New Years Resolution was to NOT by any photo gear after New Years Day 2019. I had to amend that to Chinese New Years. The 20-40mm Ltd I bought in July and the GRIII I bought in October has voided that resolution.

I have a singular Q7 in bog standard black on black. Pretty dull, eh? Well, I've always fancied lenses much more than bodies
and the Q opened up a whole new world of possibilities with adapted lenses. I have the 01 02 & 03 as well as the official K-mount
adapter. I have acquired all the Auto 110 lenses and numerous C-mount lenses for the express purpose of using with the Q.

I had an Auto 110 Super kit back in the 1990’s, so the Q system intrigued me. Finally bit the bullet and bought a nearly unused Q set off a FB seller. Q, 01, 02, 04, 05 lenses and a leather “neverready” case. Then I added the 03, 06 lenses and the Q to K mount adapter (all used). When a low shutter count silver and black Q7 showed up on eBay for $185, I grabbed it. The Q7 gets all the use except adapted K Mount telephoto lenses where the original Q’s smaller sensor is a help. Finally the pricey 08 Wide angle zoom made it into the kit too. I’ve since sold the two Toy lenses (04 & 05) since I never use them. By far my most used lens is the 06 telephoto zoom.

Q and Q7 Complete Kit, which came with 01 through 07, plus what I believe is the LAST Pentax branded screw-on filter, a polarizer fitting the 01, 02, and 06. The 01 and 02 are in their rare black versions. The kit also included hoods for the 02 and 06. The 08 came out separately later and I bought that as well; it's as indispensible as the 06. Being a small sensor camera, its strength is focal range for the diminutive size. 08 and 06 give you 17.5mm to 200mm+. I can't find anything more versatile in that way. Pentax should release "The Q7 Essential Kit" consisting of the body with 01, 06, and 08.

In order: model, date and price:

Black Q-S1 (May 2015) $245 with 02
Yellow Q7 (September 2015) $230 with 02
Black Q7 (2016) $225
Red/gray Q-S1 (2018) $208
Silver Q7 (May 2019) $300 with 01, 02, 06, and 40.5 polarizer

I have three 01s (one is de-centered), three 02s, one 03, three 06 (one is dead), one 07, and one 08.

I've also got 6 Auto 110 lenses, numerous c-mount and d-mount lenses and various adapters.

I don't have any justification for having more than two other than: I got them for very good prices and as "insurance" in case one of the bodies died, which hasn't happened, of course. I don't think I’ll be getting any more although there is a pink Q10 on ebay right now that looks inviting.

I bought a black&silver Q7 kit with the 02 and 06 lenses at a very low price as an exhibit camera in Tokyo.
Later I added the 01 prime. Since I got that prime I use it nearly exclusively.
On ebay I scored a set of 40.5mm filters (CPL, ND2, ND4, ND8, FLD)

Cool collection of Q! You need a Q10 to round out the collection. Not saying it has to be pink☺.

Cipher, I would love to see examples shot of the same subject with a good 01 vs the decentered one, in a new thread. People rarely get to see comparisons like this.

Thanks,
barondla

I have one Q, One white one. It's rarely used. Our focus has always been on capturing for large prints. The MP of the K-1 and K-3 is appreciated.
