Adorama has this item available for order:

The Speedbooster was initially offered in a Nikon mount,
which wasn't particularly helpful for Pentax users.

If enough people order this one,
Metabones may be motivated to actually produce it.
As of right now, it does have a manufacturer's item code (MB_SPPK-Q-BM1).

In the meantime, you can dream of converting your 100 mm macro
into a superfast tele with enough depth of field to be useful!

Has this only just been released? I remember discussion of it here some time ago, and Metabones' own press release suggested it was slated for release in August 2017...

I wouldn't even be sure that it actually has been released even now unless you can get one in your hands -- It is under "new products" at adorama with a price tag, so I guess that's a good sign, but it is not actually in-stock. (Did anybody see it in stock?) It definitely was never available in 2017 (or 2018)...

I had a look through the Q forums for photos taken with the Nikon-mount version. The only thread I could find was this one, but there may be others elsewhere. From those alone, this looks like a good reason for breaking out the Q again, as if one was needed.

If somebody told me back in 2017 that I won't hear anything about this product until February 2020 when suddenly it would be on Adorama and B&H order pages, I'd have worried about that person.

I was intrigued by their Nikon F to Q product, but I can't see purchasing lenses just for this purpose.
Two more months - and still no K to Q product.
I think the NYC retailers were just hoping to get something going, but on my "fixed income" I don't have any money right now for playing.

Looks like one is up for sale already on UK EBay if you want one before Aug. Tempted... FOMO are these things super scarce? This seller has the Nikon to Q speedbooster available too.
