C'mon, let's don't confuse the spot metering with focus cross sensors.
Better, download PhotoME and that picture (of mine), load it into PhotoME and you'll see the difference between two actions: where I wanted to focus and where the camera focused. And, in your opinion, this is not an AF issue? 2-3 cm FF is nothing?
I have other pictures with more cm FF.
Anyway, when I sent back my K-r to the Pentax RO dealer, I attached a CD with pictures with FF and they agreed with me. So... I'm waiting their resolution: my adjusted and fully functional camera, a new entirely working camera or money back. I'll "risk" and I'll buy a K-x, instead. IMHO, better Safox8+ than Safox9-.
I need more precision than speed of focus. Differences between K-r and K-x's speeds of focus are insignificant.
