I would not mind having one of those in my camera... I like the CCD output.

Interesting.
A 16Mp FF sensor, and a 16Mp APS-H sensor.
Wouldn't either sensor, but we'll have to wait and see which cameras get these...

I´m pretty sure APS-H is dead in DSLRs now that Canon no longer use it.

What's the difference between CCD and CMOS in real world usage? A 16MP FF sensor sounds like my cup of tea/coffee. Shame Kodak sold this division :|

So am I right in thinking I read somewhere that Live View and video aren't possible with a CCD sensor, but they have superior image quality? And a non MF DSLR these days without Live View is dead in the water. So why develop a 35mm FF CCD?

Though it would be nice to have a quality optimised high resolution DSLR without an AA Filter. But I guess that's what you pay big bucks for with Leica and MF cameras.

For industrial uses. Kodak also sells or sold a lot of sensors to NASA. CCDs generate less noise than CMOS sensors so they are better for scientific uses.

Aaaah fair enough. Yeah I forgot sensors are used in things other than handheld cameras *facepalm*
