[Rant] Actually mocking the fun and IMO interesting project of manufacturing a Lego vue camera (which really works if I remember well) for the sake of Newson bashing is bad taste if not stupid.

Typical of a certain 'forum' mentality. Do it yourself or shut up.

The K01 appears to have a better design than the Newson Full Frame model. With the K01 you can turn it upside down and rest it on a table to shoot it. With Newson's full frame there appears to be a ridge on the top preventing this option

Bonjour,

You do have a point, but now wouldn't it be great if Pentax would allow members of this forum (and others) to have some real input as to future camera design, ergonomics, feedback, roadmap advice, etc.?!

Who would know the Pentax product line better than the tens of hundreds of users frequenting this forum, dedicated Pentax users ... plus a lot of them have and/or have had experience with other systems (read Canikon & Co.) so they could add their two cents as to what works well here and there and vice versa.

Oui, oui, oui ... let's do it ourselves and not shut up! I am fully ready and willing to participate.

How better to create consumer excitement and possible future sales ... I'm all for it ... 100%!

Allez, enough of my ranting for now ... bonne soirée - J Frog

Any news about the viewfinder?

Is it OVF or EVF?

As humorous as this is, its neither news nor rumor, so I'm moving it.

It's true. Fake massages get me all tensed up. Real massages get me relaxed.

My guess is that it's assembled in Denmark, by Lego.
But on the other hand, by the looks of it it may as well be Kennod himself who has done the job.
