Sh*t people say to photographers

I don't normally watch the "sh*t people say" videos ever since the original, but this one reached out to me.

Followed shortly by irrational hatred for the actor in the video.

Oh god... and..

"Hey, do you want to come to my niece's wedding? Not for money, i mean, just come, and maybe you can bring your camera?"

Yep.

Here is a message I got from a "Friend" after I told her under NO circumstances do I do weddings (or people). The bold is mine.

"Hey there, friend! How's your Nissan doin?!

So I have a question for you and you're probably gunna hate me and yell at me bc we already talked about this haha but hear me out...so I'm getting married in November at the courtyard at lake lucerne in downtown Orlando.

I already have almost all my vendors booked and I'm waaaayyyy over budget and about to sign the rights to my first born child over to the dj bc there's not much else I can afford.

I would LIKE to have video of the wedding but being able to afford a videographer at this point is near impossible and I have a friend that could do it bc he has a nikon that does good video but hes going to be an usher so I really don't want to give him that much more responsibility, and I don't know how great he'd be at being discrete.

Anyways, I know you said you don't do weddings and you would never do weddings bc they're stressful and I COMPLETELY understand but all I'm looking for is for someone to record my ceremony, first dances, speeches, and whatnot with a professional grade camera, I don't even really need editing.

SO if you think that's a possibility, you and your husband could come to the wedding, take some video of some of the pertinent events and then stay for some free food, booze (open bar! Haha), and fun!

Let me know what you think! Our date is Sunday, nov. xxth. Definitely no pressure whatsoever, I completely understand either way, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask!

Thanks you!!"

DOh!

I've decided I'm only ever going to second shoot friends weddings, Number one: No pressure/expectation/money involved.
number two: Its fun and I'm free to socialise/mingle/blend in.
