Kodak raising surviving film lines prices 15%

Burined in the body of an Amateur Photographer article on the demise of Kodak reversal films is news that Kodak raising surviving film prices 15%

While the company has recently stated it considers photographic film a core business and will continue to develop new film technology and market some existing films and produce, Kodak Film will become a premium photographic medium rather than the ubiquitous yellow boxes we all grew up with.

Got to love Kodak, first they delete all your favorite films then raise the price on the rest. Good way to keep your longtime customers happy, the ones that actually kept you in business over the last few years.

Some more examples of the wondrous business acumen that put them in the pickle they are in right now. Lets kill the goose!

I certainly hope it works but I'm going to put in a stock of Tri-X right now. Where was that sales ad for that new freezer?

Yeah you wonder if anyone running the Kodak film division has actually shot a roll of their film in the last decade.
Probably not I'm afraid.
