Question on DXOMark Sport (Low-Light ISO) score

I recently saw the D800 DXOMark scores for Sport (Low-Light ISO), 2853.
If that was for a 36 MP sensor, if Pentax created a APS-C 16 MP sensor using the same technology, would it get a simular Sport (Low-Light ISO) score or is the score dependent upon the sensor MP? or some other variable that favors a full-frame sized sensor?

Thank you in advance for you assistance.

My understanding is that the D800 sensor is the full frame version of the k-5/D7000 sensor. So whatever ISO value the k-5/D7000 sensor has on DXO will be what you are looking for.

I thought so too, but the Sport (Low-Light ISO) for the K-5 is only 1162. That's a big difference between 1162 vs 2853.
My understanding is that APS-C format is close to 50% the size of full-frame. If the DXOMark score for Sport (Low-Light ISO) is not related to sensor size or MP, then we could see a new 16 MP sensor in the next generation with a substantial increase in ISO performance.
