I don't care for an FF sensor anyway so no jumping for me. However, I have to agree with some around here that the April fools thing really is juvenile and tiresome,. My favorite Linux forum did something like that on Halloween once - had the site splattered with statements it was hijacked by zombies - needless to say that the humor was lost on me more so because I live in a Halloween-less country.

What IS troublesome is when other forums start repeating this news, it turns out to be bogus and then somehow reflects badly on Pentax. I know, I know...I need to lighten up, right? OK, I will. No harm done.

Seriously, grow a sense of humor. Yeah it was a cruel joke,but it IS April 1st and that is pretty much what is to be expected.

Actually, my first thought on seeing it was WOW! Then I read the 'specs' and thought, "Hey, most of us predicting (or not) a Pentax FF got it ALL WRONG!" They're like ancient conservative safe specs that would excite nobody but a rabid Pentaxer. It ain't radical enough, innovative enough. It ain't Pentax enough.

Whew, good thing it's just a joke.

Why K-3??? They've just released the K-0...And it's been out in March...How come they jumped to K-3 so fast? I think it's an April Fool...And I've been caught myself since I shared it on my facebook profile already!

The cruelest April fools joke was when Pentax really did announce a FF digital camera at photokina 2000, and it wasn't even April.
