So, Adam, my phone woke me at 1:08 am. I read the headline. Tripped over my shoes. Woke my wife.

You had me going until 1 Card Slot (Face Palm).

Then I realized I have a 1/2 dSLR with better specs., the K-April-01. Slept on the couch.

Let's hope, "In every good joke there is a kernel of truth."

But I did start wondering if the market price for a K200/2.5 would go up.

[EDIT:] I was just wondering, who in his right mind trolls his own website?

I don't think a FF Pentax could still have sensor SR using the K-mount since the mount needs to be even larger than the Canon EOS mount to work with fast lenses like the 85mm F1.2.

Not only the one SD slot .. but no articulating screen. To produce a FF with this kind of video and no articulating screen, you KNOW it has to be a joke !

Who does thing kind of stupid April 1 stuff has to be real weirdo, hacker type or ?

Good work Pentax. Looks like a beauty. But I doubt you made it to run on 4 AA's? So I'm most likely out of the market. But glad you are still in the running Pentax!!

...and if it is a joke...please don't waste our time on this B.S.
well it looks just like the silver K-5 so its not all bad...

There is no emoticon that adequately expresses my disappointment. (but it was my first 4/1 gotcha moment this fine morning! )

Got Me...

For a few minutes even. I was going to stop coming here because I was so sick of hearing about FilmFrame, but this made up for it. Good yucks.

Having given up waiting and bought a Canon 5DII three days ago, I'm wondering whether there's an emoticon that adequately expresses my relief that it's a joke!

lol....I read the email then had a coffee thinking "I should really wait until the price drops a bit before I buy. I contemplated which lenses will and won't work, then came to the site and realized it's April fools. A good one!

Poor judgement and bad taste in my opinion. Seems like something that would be done in a drunken stupor.
