Pentax New Accessory Leaked

At the BorrowLenses.com website they have the item More Cowbell listed under the Pentax mount category.

Is Pentax branching into the musical equipment/farm animal locator industry or is it perhaps a third party manufacturer that is making the Cowbell in Pentax mount?

Hmmm...

Rent professional cameras or camera lenses for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Leica and Pentax

If it is professional equipment can we safely assume they are full frame cow bells? From the picture I almost think they are Angus sized not Jersey

Either way, the great thing is we will finally be able to mount the cowbells natively to our Pentax cameras.

It was such a hassle having to gerry rig the mount since no commercial adapters were available.

Hallelujah!

I have an older cowbell from a previous camera system, is there an adapter, or would I have to rent one of those?

I hate to burst anyones bubble, but More Cowbell sucks for nature photography. Wonderful portrait and still life use, but out in the field its way too noisy to be useful.

actaully commercial adapters have long been available for mounting.... a leather strap is all that is needed. Adjustable in length and one size fits all.

More Cowbell it appears is available for all brands with universal mounting, no adaptors necessary.

I wonder if anyone has actually rented one? or paid to insure it?

I contacted the company. There was an error. To the right of this item was supposed to be the accompanying Whistle. These items were to be used in conjunction with each other so that every Pentax could clearly be noted as having every conceivable Cowbell and Whistle that any photographer could ever need.
