I am sure we'll see an EVF with Pentax sooner or later. The short time question rather is what approach Pentax takes wrt mirrorless, now that the K-01 appears to have been an experiment.
They may not want to introduce a fourth mount, so an EVF for the Q would be the first sign to expect.
Originally posted by ducdao You can virtually mount any lens on the Sony e-mount, including the Pentax glasses. You will loose the AF ability of course.
I noticed Zeiss announcing own E-mount lenses which do AF. That's a first for Zeiss outside of OEM agreements. I talked to Zeiss why now, why not earlier, e.g. for the K mount. A: The E-mount is first with an open AF specification!
So, there may be an E-K adapter which supports AF at some point in time. That would turn a NEX-9 into the only K mount AF full frame digital
Of course, it would still have to be done by who knows the K mount's AF, like Pentax or Sigma. But maybe, don't throw away your FA Limiteds and FA*
