Bossa, if you want high frame rate video on the cheap, check out Casio. I happened to have a need for this and recently picked up an Exilim EX-ZR15 for about US$200 from a HK-based eBay seller. Does 480 fps. At that frame rate the resolution is low, audio is disabled, and you need strong light or it is very noisy, but it is definitely useful for certain things. Other Casio models go up to 1000fps although the reolution is even lower.

Casio also makes the EX-ZR100, which does 1000fps. That borders on "just nuts" except that it isn't waterproof.
