Pentax Survey - They want opinions

I took it too. All in all I think it was decently prepared and asked some pertinent questions, though provided little room for feedback on WHY Pentax was better or worse than other companies. I can't decide if it's telling that when asking about other companies they only refer to traditional camera companies (Canikon, Oly, Fuji) and not to electronics companies like Panasonic & Sony. I wasn't impressed by the option that "people told me I was a good photography".

I think the fact that they even bothered to do a survey shows a new face of Pentax. Ricoh, in the business copier market, probably learned early that it was all about staying in touch with the customer. Whether any of the information gets used is probably less important than they are contacting their customers

SurveyMonkey is a well-known and legit company -- why the concerns that it is fake? What would be gained? Just names & addresses?

It would also spell a rather massive lawsuit from Pentax/Ricoh, also a site shut-down, probable ip shut-down - if the site were not legit. Even the smaller electroic related companies such as Pentax have spent how much money and how many years getting their name established. The same company (Pentax) would also spend quite the amount of resources to protect it's name - even though it would take no money from their pocket to do so.

There are all sorts of answers, its designed to see what your perspective is on Pentax and to weed out folks that rant or seem to have an axe to grind. Most good surveys have at least one such question.

Every survey has a question that makes no sense and is totally unclear?
