Completed the survey using my US postal address in Eureka MT.
Hey, I don't care which Pentax is asking, I want them to know what I think.

Thanks for posting about the survey. I completed it and said that "Fast, accurate, and PRECISE auto-focus" was the main reason I have considered Nikon and Canon.
I completed the survey too and mentioned failure to address ongoing issues such as SDM lenses.

i noticed that the D600 only claims AF down to -1ev, while the K5 II claims AF down to -3ev. If its actually thats good, its a tangible reason to stay. Also I hate noisy shutters - reports that the D600 has a noisy one has caused me to cross it off the list. I'm not giving it up for any amount of advertising copy. K5 rules in near silence!

It wouldn't matter at all at a rock concert but at a small play theater it matters. Before a dress rehearsal 2 nights ago, an actress i knew came up to me and asked that I make sure that the 2 other photogs had their beepers off, focus assist lights off, and shutter sounds off. I assured her i also hated beepers and assist lights and would take care of it, but could not disable the shutter sound on an SLR, but sympathized.

Hopefully, they monitor surveys and ensure that clients don't impersonate other companies.
