I've said it before, and I'll say it again;
LBA is NOT a sickness, an obsession or a disease. It is a wonderful gift granted to only a special few.
That's right, we are the chosen caretakers of this wonderful legacy, the custodians of a cultural heritage, the keepers of an icon reflecting past quality, craftmanship and design. Nothing less.
For the uninitiated, we not only preserve these priceless artifacts, but we use them, as they were intended to be used. With care and respect, befitting their value and purpose.
Many are called, few are chosen. We are the few.
Revel in your collection, take joy in your duty.
And now, it's time for my medication.
Ron

I know, I'll do a big garage sale of those Taks next spring, that'll do it but they are just soo nice. What am I saying?

I think that if I sell off my collection it might bring depress the used Pentax lens market! Can't do that. Must buy more! And I've only just started my collection of Adaptalls and the one Russian lens I have is just lonely for more. Hey, have you seen the new line of Lensbabies, WOW?

LBA is a harsh mistress dude!
You forgot the A series lineup... and don't forget the elusive A*'s lol

on a more serious note how do you store all your lens...
My technique: A dedicated deep shelf or table (or 2) in a well ventilated room: row of Takumars shortest at front, tallest at back, row of K mounts, shortest at front, tallest at back, row of KA and KAF, shortest at front tallest at back, row of lens accessories, converters bellows, tray of filters and rings, stack or two of hoods, and row of tripod mount accessories, and flashes and accessories.

The issue of not being able to sell comes and goes like the flu - I can sell items that don't fit or are inferior to other items in the collection - there is a corollary - LSA Lens selling addiction where you get in to a fit of divestment and then regret immediately.

Second shelf of tools, cables, chargers, larger tripod accessories, two shelves of bodies arranged from oldest to youngest.
