My advice is, like that fourth glass of wine, resist the urge to take those lousy pictures in the first place........

I thought most shots looked horrendous despite all the tips.

But if you got food poisoning the pics would surely be something you would never want to look at again!

For those who say in that situation the pics could be used as evidence in court, that might not be a good idea. A defence might be that the food spoiled because someone spent too much time setting up the content, ambience, angle etc etc. to take the photos. (Gives a new slant on shooting in RAW and post processing )

I always thought the secret to photographing food was to photograph painted mashed potatoes and marzipan instead.
