Wireless tethering

Hi

This could be interesting. Don't know if it works with PENTAX, should do.

Greetings

If the product and company were solid, I'd buy one immediately at the price shown above.

"Were"? Is there any reason to believe it's not?

Good catch, gazonk! Your English is more precise than mine.

In formal English usage, the future subjective (mood) suggests that I don't believe that the company and product will be solid. In fact, I know nothing of them so it's early days to be disbelieving.

But I'm certain that many writers use the future subjunctive to indicate mere uncertainty. As you can see, I did exactly that. And I have a lot of uncertainty about most subjects related to photography. And everything else, come to think of it ...

Sure, I'm not a native speaker so I won't object to that. I was just curious.

For e.g. wildlife photography it must be extremely fun to remote control a camera with a good app on a phone/tablet (a smaller tablet like the iPad mini would be ideal, I think). It should have AF-by-touch like the iPad/iPhone camera! Even for casual users this could be valuable - I know for certain that my half hearted attempts at shooting birds in our garden would have given much better results if I could place the camera on a tripod and remote control it.

Now that I have an iPad, I can certainly see value in this arrangement.

My tripod can shoot in an inverted mode, leaving the camera just a few inches above the ground/floor. But my eyes don't seem to get that far down, located as they are on the top of me.
