Pentax K-7, 5, 3 series vector artwork

With the release of the K-3III, I've completed the set that starts with the K-7 in 2009.

Well, here you are.

I don't use digital full frame, so never felt impelled to bother with the logos; but it was simple to trace and copy them.

Thank you so much for making and sharing these. I'll be putting them to good use here shortly.

There are some cameras that aren't represented in these collections, so I'm wondering if you have plans for those, or if it'd be okay to make and contribute some myself? I'm thinking specifically of the Auto 110/110 Super, *ist (film and digital versions), and Q series. I'm pretty handy with Illustrator and would be happy to do these, but I don't want to step on your toes.

That sounds great - by all means, please go ahead. My plans for further sets are vague.

I've made logo sets for the Auto 110 and *ist D series and labeled them in the style of Gray/GD Wilson for consistency.

The Auto 110 logos were a bit of a frustrating mess, with a number of variations depending on the source (body, manual, packaging, and even a print ad), so I did the best I could. Consistency must not have been a major priority for their design team back then. Feel free to edit as you see fit.

The *ist D logos in the left column were taken straight out of Pentax's PDF manuals. The center and right columns are recreations of the camera shoulder logos.

Both images link to zip files in my Dropbox. Please let me know if you have any issues opening the files. They were made in Illustrator 2021, so I'm not too sure how well other programs might handle them, considering what a pain Adobe can be sometimes.

Edit to add models included in these sets: *ist D, *ist DS, *ist DS2, *ist DL, *ist DL2, Auto 100, Auto 100 Super

Hey Neopifex, those are a wonderful and very useful addition to the set. Thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to create them.

I have an Auto 110 that I bought in 1980. It's very pleasing to be able to add the logo to my signature.

Thanks! Glad they're already useful.

Time for some Q-series logos! The Q and Q10 logos are straight from their respective manuals. The 7 and -S1 were traced (the S1 font appears to be a modified version of Garamond... maybe?).

Edit to add models included in this set: Q, Q10, Q7, Q-S1

Another logo set! This time it's the series that started with the K100D & K10D in 2006, and ended with the K2000/K-m in 2009.

All of the packaging logos come from the official manual PDFs except for the m in K-m. That one had to be traced.

The camera body logos are approximate reproductions. See the notes in the files for more info.

Edit to add models included in this set: K10D, K100D, K100D Super, K110D, K20D, K200D, K2000D, K-m

Next I'll do the K-x through K-70 so they'll be available here (even though I didn't own any of those models), unless they've been done and I'm just not seeing them in the forums. After that, I'll dive into the ZX/MZ models, which I'm pretty sure will all have to be traced. The ZX-30 was my first SLR, though, so it'll be a labor of love.

K-x through K-70 vector logos are now ready. Only the K-30 came directly from the manual PDF, the others were traced.

Models included in this set: K-r, K-x, K-30 (including stacked version that was on the camera body), K-01, K-50, K-500, K-S1, K-S2, K-70.

The next set will probably take longer than the sets I've done this week, in part because I've been on vacation, but also because the old ZX/MZ logos will probably all have to be traced, and I'm not sure where I'll find good source images.
