Wowzer! I'd love to hitch a ride on one of those! After a good dose of dramamine, of course!

I must admit that they fly down the Great Glen here too on the way out to the West coast, usually below the level of my house.

Nothing unusual about that you might say, but when you consider that my house is only 86 metres above sea level...

These guys need to be able to train to do this kind of "hedge hopping", because in operational terms it's an absolute necessity. The animals in the fields are so accustomed to them, they don't even look up, I always watch what I consider must be the ultimate ride. Yes, I know I would be as sick as dog, but they still command my respect for the job they do.

Unfortunately they seem to fly by at speeds beyond belief and you don't really hear them until they've past, hence, I'm seldom ready with camera to even attempt it.

Awesome!!

Yep, over in the UK, they just "Go-to-town" with their military exercises! I guess because they don't have the land mass as we do in the U.S.A., they train over civilian areas.

When I was over there last year, I heard this roar above me, and way up in the sky were two Eurofighter that decided is was a good place to play tag!

The images below were taken with a K5 and Tamron 70-200mm

Notice how high they are up!

Two planes, relatively close to each other, doing...????

They kept going in circles, and getting louder and slower, until they almost stopped mid air!

Finally, they bugged out!

It's amazing how many times in the UK, I've looked up and seen military aircraft.

Here in Central Florida, where I live, it's pretty rare to see military aircraft.
