LOL. I have seen this one before. I can only imagine how bad the photographer was feeling about that - maybe fright, then discomfort, then embarrassment and finally despair at his camera.

Not sure if even Pentax WR would be up to that dunking though (camera is under water for about 3 or 4 seconds) but then you might get away with it.

Aye, but did you not notice, it was a Pentax shooter that tripped up Mr Canon in the first place.

In all honesty, I think the weather sealing on a Pentax would survive that. It wasn't fully submerged for even a full second, splashed around a bit, and definitely not deep enough to amount to substantial pressure.

I assure you, even without WR lens my K5 survived dunk like this one. But you wright I had all those feelings when I did it.
