Yet we rend our garments and tear our hair because Ricoh slightly alters the name of the subsidiary company that manufactures our gear.

And wish we had an OM-D of our own.

Sheesh.

You need some good ethics and morals to wistleblow things like this only to get fired and maybe lose your career, although he recieved his money atleast. If only there were more people like him we wouldn't be in this long financial crisis at all. Shame on the corrupt men who sacrificed the future of the company for their own good at the time.

No surprise. Wealthy people rarely go to jail and when they do, they are quickly released. They're in the rich peoples' club, and the club finds a way to protect their own.

It's interesting that poor people often end up in jail but rich ones ends up paying money, something that they already got a lot of.

Well then we should all aspire to be wealthy people - but to acquire our wealth by honest means and endeavor throughout our lives not to run afoul of the law.

It isn't the wealth or the favoritism that's bad, its the badness of people.

I disagree. Favourtism is unjust, therefore it is bad.

People choose favorites to preserve thier own positions.

Most wealthy are good people, worked hard to earn their wealth (or to put their inheritances to good use), share their wealth, pay their taxes and live comparatively simple lives. So simply, in fact, that you don't even know they are wealthy. They just want to be left alone to live their lives..
