Super camera shows how light moves

Wow!

"Scientists in the US have built a camera that can show light moving by taking pictures with an exposure time one billion times shorter than a normal camera.

The device, built at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, can take an image every two picoseconds."

First time I'd heard of it, so thanks for the heads up, even if the actual news is a year old.

That is a much more detailed description, thanks.

He had a great closing remark. To paraphrase: "We should stop worrying about megapixels and start thinking more about time." Was that directed at Pentax' flash sync speed?

It's indeed sweet but it only works with static objects'
With the ted video you even see the warping of time, really amazing
