K30. Have been very tempted to pull the trigger on a K5iis during my wait for a new K3. If the rumored specs prove to be correct I will take the leap.

I'd be updating from a K-5 but only if K-3 has focus peaking. Otherwise I'll not upgrade.

I have a K-x and K20D. The K20D is my main body, and will move to second string when I buy the K-3. The K-x is for sale in the marketplace, if it doesn't sell, I will give it to my wife. I had a K-5 for a couple of weeks and returned it due to front focus in tungsten light. I had a K-01 for a few months, but it didn't find enough of a niche compared to the DLSR's and Q.

The K-5 IIs is a really nice camera, but I want 24mp for heavy cropping of bird photos and improved tracking for BIF. I also want focus peaking, hopefully more precise than on the K-01. I NEED that 1.4X TC, please.

I have no interest in a FF DSLR. I would consider a FF MILC in a few years, but my DSLR will remain APS-C.

If the rumours currently abound prove to be true (ie faster AF/tracking), 24MP etc, then I will quite likely get one (though not immediately). I'm still relatively fine with my K-r, though its ISO performance leaves a lot to be desired. And no mic port. Or grip. Or top LCD. But I mostly shoot on tripod at ISO200 anyway so I can deal with it for the time-being.

I loved the specs of the K-5IIs, but I decided to continue with my K-5 classic since the new features didn't really make a difference for me. It seems the K-3 might include some interesting steps up though (flash, AF, focus peaking). Esp since I will be getting a new flash, it seems to make sense to be able to use it to its fullest capacities. I might still postpone the decision until it's clear whether or not the K-3 body will still be compatible with the K-7/5 grip and focusing screens, but there seems to be a good chance. If so, I will upgrade for sure, otherwise it will depend on the actual additional value of any undisclosed new features.

I will wait to see what the K-3 will have to show once its official. If FF is real and a release date is announced soon, I will wait for that. I have the K-5 classic and I'm very happy with it, but a new camera is always fun to have!! :-)

Not likely to upgrade anytime soon. Just got a used K5c in Feb. this year. Depending on K-3 specs, I may try to get one of those two years after its intro. I am no where close to maxing out on the K5c as it is. I'm pretty sure that APS-C is all I'll ever need or want. If there is any general trend in my wants, I seem to be intrigued by smaller and lighter, provided the IQ is there. I have a k100dS (still a great cam, given its vintage) as backup - may keep as backup, give to daughter, convert to IR, or sell.

I only have a K-01with a few lenses. I could upgrade or just wait it out. The K-01 isn't perfect, but I can live with its [few] shortcomings and keep the $$ in my pocket.
