Hi.

Here are some snapshots from the Ricoh (Pentax) showroom in Tokyo, Ginza.

No K-3, no FF... yet! ;-)

But there is a long history in cameras and lenses on display here.

Yes, there is a big billboard outside and I saw that last time I was at Ginza, but didn't have a chance to go inside to see the display as you have shown here. Thanks!!

Didn't know that there was a Pentax showroom at Ginza, got an address for that? And, have you got any comparison between it, and the Pentax Square, Shinju-ku?

Either way, sounds like I should swing by Ginza next time I'll be in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Hi.

Take the subway to Ginza station, take exit A1 and turn 180 degrees after the staircase, and you'll see the RICOH sign. 8th (photo exhibition) and 9th (cameras and lenses) floors, they are closed all Tuesdays.

I have to try to find the Pentax Square, Shinju-ku. We were at the Yodobashi, and the MapCamera stores there yesterday. We bought 3 Q7s, and a couple of accessories for them.

The yen is very low now, -5% for tourists and -5% for the VISA-card. To good to resist! :-)

When you see the Ginza subway station exit A1 like this, the RICOH tower is 10 meters forward to the right.

Thanks! I know Ginza somewhat well (there are a few musical instrument shops there that I frequent, and Yamaha and Ito-Ya are always fun digs in that area, but never thought to look for Ricoh. Added to the "todo" list now that I know where to look exactly
