Pentax showroom and service center Tokyo, Shinjuku

This is our last day in Tokyo, and we finally made it to the Pentax showroom and service center in Tokyo, Shinjuku. It's just 2 blocks west from the Shinjuku subway station.

I had the chance to try shooting with the 645D. It looks big and bulky, but it feels much lighter and is very easy to use, thanks to the good design and engineering. Here are some photos from the showroom with the 645D.

Yay! You found your way there. Still bummed out that I missed it last time I was in Tokyo but I had to many other places I "had" to see
The Pentax 645D is a very nice camera indeed and not as heavy as I thought it would be.
Were you able to try out the big 560mm lens as well? Looks huuuuuuge
And thanks for sharing

Hi Josef!

Thanks! No playing with the 560 mm..... but you can look here for me playing with my Q7 and a SMC A135/2.8: (post # 550)

Nice! Wish we had a store like this here in the states somewhere. No camera stores in my town Ithaca anymore. None at all. Ritz at the mall was the last to go. But Wal-Mart on-line finally has a Pentax for sale: a white K-50 body only for $599.

Nice! I was in Pentax Forum in Shinjuku in 2000 when they still had a Pentax museum and got quite a few respectful nods to the LX around my neck :-)
