Stopped by Dodd Camera 's big downtown store in Cleveland and had a nice chat with long-time Pentaxian and retail salesman Eric Wethington (Photographic Specialist and class instructor) at Dodd for number of years. In the past year or so, I have bought couple of Pentax lens from Dodd. This trip gave me a chance to hold the K-3 in hand and dream of the future! Dodd has an entire showcase devoted to current Pentax cameras. Included are K-50, K-500, K-5II, K-3, and Q, WG-10. They have a good representative sampling of Pentax lens and a few K-mount other manufacturer lens plus good backup stock. It was encouraging to see nice display and investment in backup stock for Pentax, and Eric shares my view that we can expect a lot more for the Pentax brand with Ricoh's improved capital position and marketing efforts. For northeast Ohio Pentax users, Dodd is a great resource, and you can check them out from anywhere at doddcamera.com.

That's good to hear, I've been to two of their stores in the Dayton area and they have ZERO Pentax products.

I was at their Mentor store last weekend an did not see any Pentax gear there. I was at their downtown store when they had their spring show, it was nice to be able to handlle the gear.

My dumb. No, they did not have a 645. I still have never seen or touched one, although I would like to do so!

It's hard touching something that sweet, that you know you'll never have the pennies for. I did it once… now the experience is embedded in my brain. Better to just look at pictures.
