Pentax should use this for an ad campaign

Pentax should use the following story in an upcoming ad campaign touting the water proof technology. No word what model of camera was found.

Oh wow! I live 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Cool!

I bet it was a WG series camera.

There have been several stories about Pentax cameras being found underwater still functional. Still amazing.

Don't mean to derail the thread but I thought I saw that Nixon is now making a DSLR that is now water proof to so many feet rather than just water resistant. Can anyone confirm?

I think the camera looks buggered.
To me it's more testament for the durability of the memory card.

I had a Pentax WPi circa '05 that was stolen from me by the Pacific Ocean. I'd love just to know where it ended up and if the WP seals held.
