Ok, so there is no equivalent to this place. However, if I was looking for a reputable forum on the same level as this one but for Canons, where would I go?

I favor FM Forums as the vibe there is similarly civil (mostly) like here. Fred Miranda is brand-agnostic, but the Canon forum is good. Their photo "presentation boards" are high quality for the most part.

Less polished is the Photography-on-the-Net Canon Digital Forum. Still lots of good information and decent vibe.

You could try 'friendly photo zone,' too, : it's for all brands, but my Nikonian friend hangs there among some others.

There's also the non-pentax board here: a lot of us shoot multiple systems.
