I don't want to steal your thunder, but I mentioned to that in my first post when I joined the Forums two years ago: "I watched "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" flying home to Oz last week. Nice to see a Pentax MX sneaking into the picture".

It isn't a bad movie but I thought the way she dismissed her war hero boyfriend was a bit harsh.

@PJ1, sorry then. I actually used the forums search function using "yemen" which did not return anything related to that movie. Actually, searching again now, it does return your posting but it didn't seem related to the movie from the list of hits...

Regarding the war hero boyfriend, you know, there are no war heros in Europe, just victims of a wrong-heading politics. In this respect and considering the movie was European, it was to be anticipated. As the entire movie was joking about current politics anyway.
